Project Overview

This project focused on the evaluation and rehabilitation of Burg El Sultan, a nine-story building in Jabaliah, severely damaged by fire during the 2008–2009 war in Gaza. The aim was to restore the building's structural integrity and functionality while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Role of CEP on the Project:

Conducted a preliminary investigation and condition survey to assess the extent of damage caused by the fire.

Performed a detailed structural evaluation to identify critical areas requiring intervention.

Developed a redesign plan for the damaged components to ensure structural safety and durability.

Prepared comprehensive rehabilitation works plans and full tender documents, including specifications and cost estimates.

Supervised the implementation of rehabilitation works to ensure quality and adherence to the redesign specifications.
