Project Description
The Sheik Hamad Ben Jasem Daily Care Center was a specialized facility aimed at providing comprehensive rehabilitation services for individuals with cerebral palsy. The center was designed to address the various needs of individuals with disabilities and injuries, encompassing physical, psychological, and economic aspects.
The project included the full detailed design, preparation of tender documents, and construction supervision for a 1,800 m² building spanning five stories. Additionally, the center incorporated a 5 KWp and 70 KWp photovoltaic (PV) solar system, along with two water desalination units with capacities of 40 m³/day and 20 m³/day to meet the center's water needs sustainably.
The project’s design aimed to create an accessible and supportive environment that fostered the rehabilitation of people with cerebral palsy, promoting their well-being and independence.
Role of CEP in the Project
Detailed Design and Planning: CEP provided the complete design of the building, ensuring that it met the specific needs of individuals with cerebral palsy and adhered to modern standards for healthcare facilities.
Tender Documents: CEP prepared detailed tender documents according to FIDIC Red Book, ensuring transparency and clarity in the selection process for contractors.
