Project Description

The Center for Engineering and Planning (CEP) successfully led the construction supervision and contract management for the Scientific Labs Building at Al Aqsa University, Palestine. This six-story facility, with a total floor area of approximately 1,000 m² per floor, was designed to meet the advanced needs of scientific research and higher education. Equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories, administrative offices, and essential services, the building provided a cutting-edge environment for academic excellence.

The project established a benchmark for academic infrastructure in the region by integrating sustainable and efficient systems. By enhancing the university’s capacity to support advanced educational and research activities, this facility not only served current needs but also positioned the university as a leader in scientific innovation and higher education.

The scope of services included:

Design Review: Assessed and refined architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical plans to align with project objectives and ensure functionality.

Contract Management: Managed contractor agreements and facilitated smooth execution, maintaining cost-efficiency and timely delivery.

Construction Supervision: Oversaw all construction activities, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards and compliance with safety protocols.

Supervised the installation of advanced laboratory systems to meet scientific and technical requirements.

Coordinated effectively with all stakeholders to resolve challenges and streamline project operations.
