CEP was tasked with delivering training modules designed to improve the capacity of local government employees in key areas such as strategic planning, management, financial management, and customer service. The training was designed to strengthen the efficiency and effectiveness of LGUs in serving their communities and managing resources.
Role of CEP in the project
CEP’s role in the project was to design, develop, and deliver tailored training modules in the following areas:
Strategic Planning & Decision Making: CEP helped municipal staff develop long-term planning capabilities and improve their decision-making processes by teaching them to assess situations strategically and prioritize actions effectively.
Management Skills: Training focused on improving management skills such as resource management, project execution, and organizational leadership to help municipalities become more effective and responsive to the needs of their communities.
Financial Management: CEP's training in financial management aimed to strengthen the municipalities’ ability to plan and execute budgets, manage public funds, and ensure financial sustainability.
Customer Service: The customer service training helped municipal staff understand the importance of community relations, fostering positive interactions between the public and local government services.
