Project Overview
This project aimed to integrate resilience into local governance by developing technical knowledge, information, and guidelines for strengthening local governments' ability to withstand and recover from multi-hazard risks.
Role of CEP in the project
Conducting Risk Assessments: Analyzing multi-hazard risks faced by local governments to inform resilience strategies.
Developing Planning Guidelines: Crafting guidelines to assist local governments in developing their resilience plans, ensuring they were tailored to specific needs.
Designing Resilience Plans: Formulating resilience plans for pilot municipalities, focusing on practical and actionable strategies.
Establishing Infrastructure Standards: Developing standards to ensure critical infrastructure was robust and resilient to hazards.
Capacity Building: Leading training initiatives to empower local governance bodies to implement and sustain resilience strategies.
