Project Overview
This project focused on supporting the preparation and institutionalization of Strategic Development and Investment Plans (SDIPs) for four municipalities: Gaza City, Al-Burije, Al-Mughazi, and Deir al-Balah. The consultancy services included facilitating the planning process, providing capacity-building for stakeholders involved in the process, and supporting the monitoring and evaluation of the SDIPs. The aim was to ensure that these municipalities developed actionable, sustainable, and comprehensive plans to guide their long-term development.

Facilitating and Capacity Building: Providing workshops, training sessions, and tools to strengthen the skills of local stakeholders involved in planning and decision-making.
Institutionalization of the Planning Process: Helping to embed the SDIP preparation process into the institutional framework of the municipalities, ensuring its continuity beyond the project's lifespan.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitoring the progress of the SDIP preparation, providing feedback, and ensuring that the plans were being developed according to agreed timelines and quality standards.
