Project Overview
This project involved the design and implementation of a 58 kWp on-grid solar energy system with battery backup for the Palestinian Red Crescent Health Center in Deir Al-Balah. The system aimed to enhance the center’s energy reliability and sustainability, with an added focus on electrical reconfiguration and implementing energy efficiency measures to optimize power usage.
Role of CEP in the project
Designed the 58 kWp on-grid solar energy system, including the integration of battery backup to ensure continuous energy supply for the health center.
Developed detailed tender documents, including technical specifications, drawings, and cost estimates for the solar installation and associated works.
Managed the tendering process, providing technical support and guidance to ensure transparency and alignment with project goals.
Supervised the implementation of the solar system, overseeing construction and installation to ensure compliance with the design and safety standards.
Led the electrical reconfiguration and implemented energy efficiency measures to optimize the health center's energy consumption and improve operational efficiency.
