Consultancy Services for Detail Design of Water and Wastewater Facilities in Gaza Strip. This project involved providing consultancy services for the detailed design of water and wastewater facilities in the Gaza Strip. The scope of work included the preparation of designs and tender documents.

The project component included:

1. Water Supply Networks:

Water supply pipelines with an estimated length of about 80 km and different sizes scattered in different areas.

Ground water storage tanks of capacities 5000 m3 and 2000 m3.

A booster pump station with a flow capacity of 250 m3/hr and 50 m head for the 2000 m3.

Two booster pump stations with a flow capacity of 300-400 m3/hr and 600 m3/hr with head of 50 m and 80 m respectively.

2. Wastewater Drainage Networks:

- Wastewater pipelines of different sizes (8'', 10'' and 12'') with an estimated length of about 16 Km, detailed as

8 km in Tal-Elhawa and Sheikh Ejleen in Gaza.

2 km in scattered areas in western part of Jabalia

2 km in Rafah

2 km in Khanyounis

2 km in the Middle area

- Upgrading Gaza No.1 sewage pump station which included

Design of a new wet pit

Redesign of electrical panel

Re-design of mechanical manifold and pumping unit

Redesign the existing pressure line with an approximate 4 km length

Complete design of sewage pumping station at Khirbit El Adas (Rafah) that was designed to serve 60000 inhabitants distributed in El Shoka areas.
