Engineering Consultancy Services pertinent to the Implementation of small-scale infrastructure Projects. The consultancy services scope included 1) Give specialized consulting engineering opinion concerning the quality and compliance of the draft planning, design, drawings, and tender documents of the small-scale infrastructure projects as submitted by the various supported partners of GIZ, 2) Perform design review to insure soundness of design and compliance with applicable codes and standards, 3) Provide expert opinion concerning the engineering soundness, hygiene, access to various groups and safety aspects of the submitted infrastructure projects, as applicable. The projects were:

Package 1: Development of 90 Roads Intersections using PV Solar Street Lighting and Landscaping distributed along 6 municipalities in Gaza Strip.

Package 2: Providing PV Solar Energy systems (65 Kw) for 4 water wells at Al Nasser, Abasan Al Jadida, Al Shoka and Al Qarara Municipalities.

Package 3: Installation of 48 m3/day containerized brackish water RO desalination plants in Al Qarara and Al Shoka Municipalities.

Package 4: Part 1- Establishment of a multipurpose Hall and development of the existing cultural center in Abu Ali and Abu Rock in Khuza’a Municipality and Part 2- Establishment of a Youth Center, Playground for Volley-basketball-For Khirbet al-Adas in Rafah Municipality.
