Reconstruction of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital at Al Shifa Medical Complex

Reconstruction of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital at Al Shifa Medical Complex. This project was part of the 200M$ Kuwait Government Grant for the Financing of Gaza Reconstruction Program. CEP involvement in the project included review of all designs (architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) and tender documents, monitoring the tenders' evaluation and awarding, and monitoring the construction supervision of the project. The hospital consisted of 7 stories with an area of about 1200 m2 for each one. The works included demolishing of part of the existing building and reconstruction of the new hospital building. The rehabilitation works included connecting the existing electrical, mechanical, networking, medical gas networks to the new building. Also, ensuring the functioning of all utilities during the reconstruction.
